Autumn Shoe Haul | ASOS, New Balance & Primark

The time for sliders and espadrilles is long over, and with that in mind, I decided to pick up a few new footwear items. The A/W fashion season is in full swing and is still my favourite season for style. As some one who is almost perpetually in an all black ensemble, I love when the high street colour palette moves to darker tones and edgier styles and textures are introduced.

I just received these boots from ASOS a few days ago. I chose these particular ankle boots because I'm a great lover of a chunky flatform and because I thought the diamond print texture was unusual. I can imagine Zoe Benson from AHS Coven wearing these and they will definitely be featuring in my Halloween LookBook.

New Balance - €87
I know people say New Balance are overpriced and trendy and I was perfectly willing to let the trend pass me by. This changed when I saw this particular pair in Schuh. The minimalist scheme and mesh detailing was what sealed the deal and I decided to take a leap of faith and invest on what are now my comfiest pair of shoes.

Primark/Penney's Oxfords - €21

I don't usually buy shoes in Penney's but these dupes caught my eye. The pale stitching on the sides is reminiscent of Dr Martins style and these could have easily passed as excellent dupes if it wasn't for the zipper running up the front instead of laces.I'm also still debating as to whether these are black or navy, it deviates depending on the lighting but there is a definite blue marbled effect.

I hope you enjoyed this short post and I'l be working on giving you guys tonnes of new content in the coming weeks. I'm also selling some other shoes over on my Depop if you'd like to check it out.

2014 Christmas Wishlist

2014 Christmas Wishlist

2014 Christmas Wishlist by sarahmagliocco

It's the most wonderful time of the year, oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday, walking in a Winter wonderland...etc.

So it's the time of the year again where festive cheer and fiscal spending is at it's highest, and I'm not complaining! Whether you are shopping for yourself or for gifts for others, here's my run down of 15 things I'd be very happy to see under my tree this year, or look forward to treating myself to in the new year.
1. The Bucket Hat
Iv'e been longing for a good bucket hat since the Summer, with my favourite style being the classic Stussy and this rare Nike Air Tokyo specimen.
2. The Platform Slip On
The shoe of A/W was the slip on plimsole, and I love River Island for introducing this snakeskin platform version. They're even on sale!
3. Embelished Choker
Tattoo chokers are dime a dozen now, I'll be adding interest with embellishment.
4. Faux Fur
Every Winter season faux fur comes back with a vengence, and these Missguided heels are an alternative twist on the typical faux fur clutches and jackets.
5. Dark Berry Lipstick
As stereotypical as it is, as the evenings get darker so do make up hues, and lips are no exception. MAC Rebel is my personal favouries.
6. iPhone 6
A major stocking filler this Christmas will be the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.. If you have a handy few hundred euro laying around. One can only dream..
7. HUF
HUF socks have been on my wishlist for a while now, particularily since the "palm" leaf print has been big. What print would look cuter with faux fur sliders or Nikes.
8.Adidas Mountain Clash Collection
I have become obsessed with landscape print and Adidas has the perfect urban edge to showcase a print like this in the coolest possible way.
9. Explicit Content
I am in love with this Missguided clutch, keeping the original Alexander Wang motif alive.
10. Casio Watch
A nod to the 80's, Iv'e had my eye on this Casio digital watch for years, I think it's such a classic and a nice alternative to the chunky styles from Michael Kors and River Island that have been popular for the last few years.
11. Penny Board
I started learning to skate like 2 years ago and never managed to get to grips with it. I saw the Penny Board first in my all time favouritee blogger and Youtuber, The Beauty Crush's, video a few months ago and have been obsessed with their sweet colour schemes ever since.
12. Kenzo Jumper
I much prefer the eye motif to the Kenzo tiger, I will be saving my Christmas dosh for a trip to BT2's.
13. Lacy
Who doesn't want cute underwear! Topshop have been steadily releasing cute lacy items all season if your Christmas budget doesn't quite stretch to this Stella Mc Cartney piece, but this particular triangle bra is available here.
14. Over the Knee Boots
I'm jumping on the band wagon here but over the knee boots are my favourite footwear fad of the minute.
15. Hidden Treasure
My go-to nail varnish that I re-purchase and re-purchase is Topshop's 'hidden treasure'.

A little Primark Haul..

Good evening every one, and once again appologies for the lack of blog posts, I know I use the old busy excuse every time but what with being back at school and actually caring about school this time around, I really have been weighed down with work!

Today I was doing some Christmas shopping and of course I stopped into Penney's. Iv'e been really disappointed with Topshop and RI lately (unheard of I know!!) and so Iv'e pretty much just been shopping online and in Penney's due to the need for basic bits and fluffy winter socks and the like!

The first thing I picked up was a body-con grey marl midi dress for 13 euro.

My main fault wit it is that he bottom is a little too tight, walking up steep steps is pretty much impossible! (Trust me, I learned the hard way.)

I also picked up this jumper. Out with ombre hair, In with ombre knitwear! It was 16euro which is an absolute bargain seeings it's so pretty and cosy!

It's a kind of fluffy wool(100% acrylic, don't stand too near an open flame) which annoyingly moults a little but it's too soft to care!
Seeings I cannot justify buying the real American Apparel Disco Pants, I snapped up the Penney's version for 17euro. I say Penny's version but they are literally the exact the same as the AA ones, back pockets and all!
I also picked up this shirt, not sure how much it was. I wear it with my green John Lennon glasses and feel like i'm in a 70's band.
The print is an odd hybrid of hybrid of baroque/oriental/paisely but I like it, it's quite different than any other print I have in my wardrobe.

Cest tout pour le moment. I really will intend on posting every few days during the Christmas holidays! Enjoy the run up to Christmas!

Spain Haul: Primark, Topshop, H&M, Blanco, Zara.

Hey all, Iv'e been very neglectful lately, I apologize for that but Iv'e got no internet at the moment so what could I do! I have
a quick haul, mostly accessories, not everything I bought in Spain is here because I didn't realize I would have a chance to blog today and I don't have pictures of the clothing on my camera!

The first thing I wanted to talk about is my Birthday dress I got for my party, it's from Topshop, and my Mom bought it online for me as one of my birthday gifts, so thank you mother!

It's a gorgeous pearlesent nude, with silverish threads sewed through it. It wasnt my first choice but as we know, my first choices release date was pushed back to May and I needed the dress for April, but no matter! I still love this dress.

Before I jetted off I picked up a few bits, here is just accessories I go literally the day before I left.

                     Primark Ring~1euro

I got this in one of the little reduced stands in Penneys, I am currently obsessed with turquoise and stone jewellery so I snapped this up asap. The stone was a little loose so I had to take it out and superglue it, but it was worth it, I love this ring .

Topman Ring~3.5Oeuro
I was in Topman with my boyfriend and I hadn't been in a while so I had a good nosey in their jewellery section where I usually find good pieces that are a lot more resilliant than Topshop and worth more per wear as they dont tend to snap on nights out (grr..still mad about my bodychain)so I picked this crucifix ring up. I know the crucifix trend was overdone like a year ago I just cant let go! So I said I'd try them in a more subtle way with this ring rather than the now common double ring crucifix.
Topshop handchain~ Sale

I cant remember how much this was but it was in the sale
As was the Topman ring above, I forgot to mention that.
I really liked the fact that this hand chain was connected by a bangle rather than a delicate bracelet.
My only problem was that the sizing of the rings was very off, as you'l see below, I had to swap the rings around for them to fit but then that kind of twisted the crucifix which
was annoying to say the least.

H&M Collar~9.99euro
I picked this pearl collar up in H&M in Spain. I had to have it because it was only 9.99, it's exactly the same as one in Topshop  which is 18.5O.

I also went into Blanco while I was away, which is now one of my favourite shops! I picked up some clothes in there, but as I said Iv'e no pictures of them so I wont even bother mentioning them.

Blanco Ring~ 6euro
I'm not 1OO% sure why I bought this, It's not it really my style. I do like it I'm just not sure how often I'll get wear out of it.

It reminds me of something Iv'e seen before, maybe a designer ring or catwalk accessory or something and I think that just pinged in my mind when I saw it..

  H@M Ring~3.99
I got another ring which once again isn't really my style but I love pearls and the colours shining in this one are really vibrant
  Zara Clutch~29.99
I am so excited about this clutch! I have wanted it for ages but seeings there's no Zara in Galway and it was sold out online, I resigned myself to the fact that I would never have it, but when I was in Spain I popped into a Zara and there it was! So I blew thirty frickin euros on a clutch which is ridiculous I know, but it makes me so happy!

I just love love loved last seasons under the sea theme of the catwalks, and this fish scale effect is gorgeous.
The deep blue lining keeps the whole under the sea vibe going.
My only concern is the sequin things bending on a night out.

 Blanco Necklace~ 9.99
My last item! I got this dreamcatcher necklace in Blanco, I fell in love with the feathers and cute little skulls dangling off it.

This is another thing I'm not sure why I bought, I wore it a good bit in Spain but Iv'e nothing in my everyday wardrobe to match it with. I'm going to try and build an Outfit Of The Day around it.

Primark, Topshop, Vintage & Evil Twin Haul. †

Hey everyone, just have a little Haul blog here, Mostly jewellery but I also picked up a few shirts and other bits! Their mostly from Primark(Penneys) because Iv'e been on a really tight budget lately!
Armor Ring~Primark
The first piece I picked up was this silver ring from Primark, I got it in a Medium but it's a bit too big for me which is weird.
I think it's a really nice Summery armor style ring, but unfortunately it will have to be a thumb ring as it's so big, but for only 2euro I'm not complaining!

Turquoise Ring~Primark

I also picked up a turquoise stone ring I really wanted some turquoise pieces for Summer.

It was only 3euro, and it's a Medium and fits perfectly!
I love the leaf pattern that holds the stone in place, Primark has really upped it's game in the last year with the details they've been adding to the clothes and accessories they've been mass producing lately.

I recieved this Topshop Hand chain for my Birthday recently, from my lovely friend Laura.
I really love it, I had one before from River Island but unfortunately it snapped on a night out!
It has a gold coin detail, it reminds me of ancient Rome or something, I cant wait to wear it casually on holidays with a maxi skirt or peeking out of a shirt sleeve on a night out.
Crucifix earrings~Topshop
I picked up these oversized crucifix earring in Topshop last week for 10.50, which I thought was a bit odd seeings the ones I bought last Summer which were half the size were the same price!
They're quite heavy, I wore them to the cinema on Friday to see the Hunger Games and I had to take them out halfway through! I think they'l only really be good for nights out rather than day to day wear.

Belt~Charity Shop
I got this belt in Enable Ireland on Lower Shop Street for 50cent, which I thought was an amazing deal! I got it to wear on Saint Patrick's Day because of the green strap thing, its got an adorable gold golfer motif embossed on the strap too.

Shirt~Primark
I got this adorable shirt in Primark, I still have this obsession with interesting collars so this was an obvious choice!

Shirt~Primark
I picked up this shirt yesterday in Primark, purely for the crochet cream collar! It has sweet gathered bell sleeves too! I'm starting to get snowed under by the amount of cream collared shirts i own...

Evil Twin Dress~Nastygal.com
I got this dress for my Birthday from my sister, it's the Evil Twin Heavy Cross To Bear dress.
Its sheer black cotton with sheerer crucifix pattern, over a cream lining, I just thought it was really different, I hadn't ever seen a full pattern of crucifixes on a dress before!
Wool Jumper~Public Romance
I got this customized vintage jumper in Public Romance a while back, I'd had my eye on it for ages so I was delighted when I finally snapped it up!
